The City of Moraine is pleased to welcome Tyler Technologies to our business friendly community. Tyler is committed to relocating its Appraisal & Tax Division to 4000 Miller Valentine Ct. Tyler will share their new corporate location with current facility tenant Miller Valentine. “Tyler Technologies commitment to Moraine is exciting and welcomed news to our city that also allows us the unique opportunity to secure a prospect expansion while retaining a familiar and important face to our community in Miller Valentine”, stated Mayor Elaine Allison.
“Our Company is growing and the facility in Moraine presents us with the best possible scenario for current and future growth. Blood Donation Day for Mayor Bob Rosencrans
Bob Rosencrans’ grandson now has a week-old baby sister. The four miniature dachshunds that were lonely for his return have a new home. Despite losing the GM plant, and their mayor, the city of Moraine is moving ahead. Add to all that the lives saved through the blood donations made in his memory at Community Blood Center (CBC) and it must be true that somewhere Bob Rosencrans is smiling.
Rosencrans was killed in a traffic collision caused by a speeding driver on October 15, 2010, nine months after he ran unopposed and was elected Moraine mayor for a second time. He was a dedicated blood donor with more than 70 lifetime donations, so his family thought it a fitting tribute to sponsor a donation day in his honor on his birthday last year. On Wednesday, March 28 they sponsored Bob Rosencrans day again.
“We didn’t want it to be a one-time thing,” said his daughter Megan Rosencrans, who made her 25th lifetime donation Wednesday in his honor. “He made blood donations a lifetime commitment and we kind of wanted to follow through.”

Liapis goes Green
On March 15th, several Moraine officials attended an Open House by Liapis Landscape & Design. Liapis was celebrating “Going Green”, a recent conversion effort that switched a fleet of 12 commercial mowers from gasoline to propane fuel. The effort is the first of its kind in the State of Ohio and will reduce their carbon emissions by nearly 70%. The Open House was well attended and several speakers including Mr. Liapis, Keith Gud with AmerGas, and Katherine Stewart with Clean Fuels Ohio spoke about the conversion process, the carbon emission reduction, and how to use State resources to encourage additional conversions within both public and private organizations. “The hope is that the trend catches on in Ohio and our region so that we can begin to see the positive effects of carbon reduction and fuel efficiency in not just mowers but all commercial vehicles”, stated Mr. Phil Liapis.
Liapis Landscape & Design is located at 3159 Encrete Lane and is a full service landscape company. They provide design, maintenance, construction, irrigation, and water features for both residential and commercial property throughout the entire Dayton region. We are proud to have them call Moraine home. To learn more you can contact them at (937) 293-9565.
